While concentrating on research of performance of traditional musical instruments, especially that of chamber music, he integrated training techniques of chamber music into the curriculum of traditional musical instrument courses in 1994 for the first time.
He played and taught in various western countries including, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Spain.
Recently he has been placed in charge of the China Boys and Girls String Music band, and he is actively involved in visiting performances in Korea and Hong Kong. He also appeared in the Central TV people’s music concert and has participated in the recording and producing of CDs.
